This section has been added at the behest and guidance of my daughter as she has been insistent on well-defining the facilities for kids.
For the kids, there is a chota hazri (a light meal) early in the morning with a hot beverage and some delicious cookies. Post the meal, kids can help with cleaning the chicken coop and collecting eggs. Or, they can to the gardens and help out the gardener by tending to the flower beds and kitchen gardens. They can pluck out ripe veggies or play in the mud!
After spending some time in the gardens, the kids can stroll down to the beautiful Kempty Falls for a rejuvenating bath under the gushing waterfall. Remember to carry your swimwear with you. After returning from the falls, the kids can enjoy a hearty breakfast. You can even prepare a lovely meal for your kids in our kitchen. Post breakfast, you can plan an outing to the River Yamuna which is at a short drive of about 25 minutes from our homestay in Mussoorie. We can help you arrange a picnic basket and other necessities. You can try your hand at fishing in the river. You can ask the dhabawalas to lend you their fishing rods in case you forget to carry yours! Post fishing, you can even try water rafting (which is seasonal).

Here, the kids can visit the apple and walnut orchards, play in the water stream, visit the old aate ki chakki and have a hearty traditional meal with Naresh Bhaiyya. The kids can even play with his sons and three dogs. In the evening, we can light up a bonfire for your kids to sit along while you wait for your dinner.
On day three, you can visit the famous Mall Road for shopping with your family. You can even trek to the old temple or go horse riding. If you feel like spending the day at the cottage, you can take a walk to the beautiful brook. And if you have a pet dog, you can them them along too.
